With years of experience in the customer service industry, I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference clear communication can make - not only for a business, but for the customers it serves.
Whether it’s a restaurant, salon, hotel, retail store, or another customer-facing business, great service depends on employees being able to understand what customers need and communicate with confidence and clarity.
A language barrier can make that difficult. An employee may know exactly how to help a customer but struggle to find the right words. A simple request can be misunderstood. Or an employee’s personality, knowledge, and professionalism may not fully come through because they aren't yet confident communicating in English.
That’s one of the reasons I created Build Your English.
I wanted to create English training that goes beyond generic vocabulary and textbook exercises and focuses on the real conversations people have at work every day.
Because better English isn't just about knowing more words. It’s about giving people the confidence and skills to communicate effectively, provide better service, and build stronger connections with the people they serve.
Why We Do It
We believe a language barrier shouldn’t prevent someone from showing their personality, knowledge, or potential.
Our goal is to help English learners build the practical communication skills and confidence they need to feel more comfortable at work, connect with customers, and create new opportunities for themselves.
At the same time, we help businesses build stronger teams and provide the kind of clear, personal service that keeps customers coming back.
How We Do It
We focus on practical English that students can actually use. Lessons are built around real conversations and situations learners encounter at work - from helping customers and answering questions to handling problems and communicating with coworkers.
Through personalized lessons, conversation practice, pronunciation training, and simple habits students can continue outside the classroom, we turn what they learn into skills they can use every day.
The goal isn’t just to study English. It’s to become more comfortable and confident using it.
